The Defensible Space Score is calculated by a deterministic scoring methodology from the answers you submit. No artificial intelligence model authors the number. Photographs and walkaround video, where you supply them, are received and held as evidence. That evidence can narrow the range shown around the score or confirm an answer, and the score is then recalculated from the confirmed answers under the same published methodology. Automated analysis of submitted media, where and when it is used, assists in confirming answers and never authors the number. Users should not rely solely on Defensible Space Score's recommendations for making safety, compliance, or insurance decisions. Always cross-check results with expert evaluations or inspections of your property and consult professionals for critical determinations.

5. No Conflicts of Interest or Paid Endorsements
